I will probably substitute for the district my younger son is attending. There's no bus, and my carpool is questionable, so I will most likely be driving both ways. Might as well earn a few dollars in between. Also keeps school schedule so I have time off when they do. If I'm ambitious, I might take a permanent position, but subbing is fine, especially if they need long term.
3.7 is okay for that kid but does not reflect how smart he is. He hates school. It's way too noisy and chaotic. He notices/hears everything and most of it bothers him. I'm just glad he has managed to make it through public school. It was questionable a few times. Hard to imagine what he might do for a living... Couple years at the junior college should give him a chance to try out some ideas.
