No, just saying I have a degree in journalism and had enough credits for a degree in English but university shenanigans, so no double degree. So Red's statement about southerners didn't apply.

Of course, my dad always says that English is his second language, that southern is his first. Wish y'all could meet him when he gets on a tear. Very quiet, soft-spoken man until he starts preaching, then he can rattle the rafters. And he can turn a phrase.

Do you need dog food -- I won't even make you meet me anywhere, I'm going to pick some up for our mutts today anyway and would gladly swing out your direction while I'm out and about. So you are still trying to rehome Lily? Last time it had come up it seemed like you were leaning more towards wanting to keep her so I hadn't brought it up lately, but if you really want to rehome her I will gladly help you find a good place for her....

I know he records sermons from time to time. I'll see if I can find them. He used to record them on cassette tapes to bring to the "shut-ins," the church members who were sick, recovering from surgery, in care facilities, etc.

My grandpa (dad's dad) was a story teller - I absolutely treasure the cassette I have of him telling his tales.

Find Jessica Bradley on the Madison B/S/T page and PM her............explain the situation and just how desperate it is, she may be able to get something done in this short time.
