Yep Granny, I really like my new coat !! You have to understand, I buy ALL of my clothes, except lingerie, socks and shoes at "thrift" stores. Then I literally wear them until they are not fit to wear any more. I actually wear my work clothes until the navy shirts aren't navy any more and then dye them, before buying something to replace them.

So, as Megan said, I was really shopping outside the box this morning!!!

I buy new but its because they are cheap to begin with ,($5. for pants % 3-4 for t shirts) and I cant ever find anything at the thrift stores. For so many Americans that are supposed to be overweight seems Like it would be easier to find clothes , Its not. I buy shoes at the thrift stores. My mud boots came from there any way

The snow has covered the streets here already. I am thinking about putting on my long johns, boots and new coat and taking the air head dog for a walk down the street. She will like it, she has long hair and if Megan turns the heat above 63 degrees, Sony starts panting!!

I have to take a picture from the kitchen window tomorrow after the snow stops. There are houses as far as I can see......

Megan says she will be fine until spring gets here, then she will get "farm fever". I hope I make it that far.

It is incredible how much I miss going to the barn/coop every morning. I have already given the house dogs a bath once since we have been here. Sony is next, then the cat and then I might even let the snake swim in the bath tub. Can you tell I am getting bored with this new life style???

That happened on the first thread where I was a regular, and where I met Cheeka (was she the one who got you hooked up with the source for local polish?) Another woman ended up with a bad diagnoses, didn't want to discuss it, and eventually disappeared.

I don't think she would have left if she had the choice.

There's still a couple of us die hards on that thread, but the OP dropped off too, so it's a little slower now, but easier to keep up with!

I'm at page 101 on Cheyan's thread. I'm going to finish it. She's probably in college getting her doctorate before 20!

I remember someone asking for the tracking # and I was so new to computer and knew nothing I wouldnt give it thinking they could do a change of address or something. I dont remember Cheeka or local polish. Nice thought of her being in collage now.. she was plenty able.

These look pretty similar to me.
Could be, camping! If that's so, then maybe my little Serama really is doing his duty!! None of his eggs looks as sharp and defined as the ones from my old rooster. Got all those moody broodies. Maybe I will mark and leave a few eggs under and see what happens. What's the earliest you can candle and tell if they are fertile?
Kathy did an experiment at Sally's house and with very light eggs could see development within 12 hours. But I think 4 days is a possibility.
I don't think the look fertile....... Sorry :(
Yeah, okay. My experience is limited. Serama French toast this weekend, then.
The top half is the "fertile" example from the link wishing sent me. I don't think that mine looks as fertile as some I have had in the past. But I think it's worth a shot! I've just been dying for a reason to run the bator. It won't hurt anything to try a few, and then I'll be ready if the hona ever lays.

I can see white egg veining at 3 days. I think it is. did sally see it ? she was supposed to come over

Wishing, my horse is at a friend of a friend's in SC. She is pasture boarding her for $100 a month. The cheapest board up here that I could find available was $350 a month.

So, I am up here with no horse, no chickens and sold my car. It was not a 4 wheel drive, some one made me a good offer, so I sold it.

I feel like I am on a planet somewhere.
