Robert has never had a strong father figure. I would tell him to take the garbage out and Tom would jump up to do it ending up in a discussion of right and wrong. Even Robert was confused by it.  Tom dont want him to do anything.

it's not my business to say but granny that's a big part of the problem. Tom's a wonderful person it sounds like but that's what I'm going through with pearl and the kids. She never made them do anything. I'm trying to teach her . She's doing better at it now.

I would have put something in there thanking him for having the common courtesy/ decency of giving you a call telling you he wouldn't be taking Ben after he said he was.

Me too that is horribly rude how people behave now a days.

Hi Lisa, yes, it was the chair. then the 2 brooders brought in the house after we scrubbed them. But the chair did it. Lift chairs are very heavy .
