of course if you are anything like my wife.........patience is not a strong suit........lol

That's the responsible thing to do. But those four eggs are four potential chicks. And four chicks would get back all the money I've sunk in. So it's hard to look at eggs and not see dollar signs.

yes, but I imagine you don't have a real problem doing the right thing.....may take a little longer on your return..........

Speaking of, did you see my finished wall hanging?
yes I did.......you do good stuff......one day my wife will have time to sew again.......she's already been talking about teaching the girls....

I think its ok to sell them! why on earth not! just let them know the size eggs they hatched from and the age of the hens.

people are such hypocrites, communication is key, if you can communicate things will be fine.
Its when there is lack of communication and understanding when things go awry.

Am I wrecking the breed by selling birds who will lay smaller than standard eggs?
wrecking the breed? there are always substandard and very few high standard, I just love how we set such high standards for our critters and not our own mating and children,

like I said communication is key. I personally wait until eggs are up to size, sometimes longer than a month. But I never had a rush to set as I always had other things to set as well.

number 4 has joined us. a little black one......
