Morning all, weekend is here. Now I'll need to poke and prod DH to help me pitch a tent to make sure we have all the pieces and it's all good to go for next weekend (big off road race in Johnson valley called king of the hammers. Of course we can't take our trailer cause he wants to tow the "offroadvo" so he can play in that. So. Him, me and the dog in a tent we got from his dad that's a bloody behemoth tent (seriously it looks rather large...bigger than a single person can set up by herself anyway!...will have to keep the dog by my side at all times cause of all the people, vehicles moving around, and the fact that when she was younger we did a cross Canada road trip, and I went to the bathroom and made the mistake of leaving her in the tent....well thank goodness that was my last night of tenting....)

Oh yeah. And time crunch cause we're under a wind advisory starting this afternoon. Ugh! (Honestly, I'm not all that keen on this trip. I tried to stay home but then hubs threw a grumposaurus temper tantrum of why would I go without you blah blah blah...and a bunch of the other wives are going with their kids (so you know I'll end up on toddler patrol)

Things have been so busy between me working full time, and other stuff going on that oh man it would be awesome to just have a weekend off, where I could get some housework done...but nooo that is not to be.

At least I start the new job the Monday after we get back...and yeah it is starting off as part time....so I'll have days to get stuff done without hubs around then. Phew.

Sorry. That was rambley. At least I got off at 3 yesterday so the ladies got some free range time (oh man were they happy!) and I've managed to rake out the coop and run.

Feel a bit weak, may have to take a nap and I've still got headache!!
Got all the animals done and went and got dog and cat food this morning so everyone is fed and watered.
Did he take it on purpose trying to get out of going to town? Will GS help you in town?

i am glad you are better. headache here too. GS will have to help me and I would guess he did . He knew I had to go this day. Sons new worker comes today. I really dont feel like going . I have more then just this cold going on.

Getting the house work done with no interruptions is so much easier, I get more done in a hour with them both pit than I do all day with them in!! As fast as you clean it's a tip again

he is a good boy. willing to please. I dont think he is like that at home. He fights with his brothers a lot. Not happy there. He gave up his favorite cards to keep them home. I have had a talk with him. tried to anyway.

Do they all fight at yours when they are together? More than likely more peaceful for him when he's at yours on his own.

Brew a cup of hot tea. Add two tbsp honey and one tbsp whiskey. Honey and whiskey both have antibacterial/anti microbial properties. A tbsp is less than a shot. But you can drink several.
