Someone got advice about a pullet having similar weak/broken legs, and one idea was maybe an infection from the original broken bone causing continuing problems. Did you ever give him any anitbiotics? Might be worth a try.

maybe, havent seen any signs though. I think they are bred for looks only. I keep find him sitting in the dish and starved to death .

Hi all! Went to philly for the weekend and got back 20 miniutes ago, 873 posts to catch up on, not as bad as I expected. I want to again say thank you to @grannyhatchet for granting me a golden feather!

LOL Bubbles, I love these guys . I have 2 hens and this roo but he is in sad shape. broke his legs and been hanging since dec.22nd. he is comfortable now becase the sling is mostly to keep him from tipping over but he still isnt walking.

Aww that's terrible. :(

Really, I think I just found another of my favorite breeds! I'm a sucker for crested!

Oh my goodness. Looked em up, I thought those chickens couldn't be any cuter, but they come in FRIZZLE! :love

The place I stayed at is in Newton PA, Temperence house. If you are ever in the area, swing on by. GREAT food, great music, a bar, and if you stay; a great hotel is also there!
