hard to do when they do something like that. LOL  Im not attached I just plain dont feel like doing it. 2 hrs. for one bird is bad.
Yea if they draw blood on hawks, I like em.

That ee roo will give you colored eggs in your flock if you breed him to one of your hens. Their offspring should lay colored egg if I'm remembering correctly. Please correct if I'm wrong anyone. Good morning all, pouring in the coffee before I head out to do chores.
your right I think. Enola told me that too I think. If I'm remembering right She said that the chicks from him could produce green or blue eggs if the genes were right.

Granny, please continue to try getting into the doctor. Infection in the mamulary (sp) gland is painful

im fine. I went for a umm "booby squeeze?"   and I had a cyst or something they actually busted during the test. next thing I knew they were tons in both sides. Thet went in and took some out . Instant reduction . LOL  Not cancer
Well let's hope they can get you fixed up. No wonder you've been having a fever. If there is infection in there where it is red & hot to the touch then I'm sure its causing your fever.

Aww that sneeky little ****** Granny just tell her your not feeling well & that the only place you are going is too the DR. If they can get you in.

LOL let her bring me food . then when she wants a ride home he will have to come get her as he brought her over here !

That's what I thought too.

Red, that also depends on what hen you put him with. Put him with a hen that lays white eggs and you would have a better chance at blue. tan or cream colored hen will be more chance at green but like she said , the roo has to carry the right gene first.

I have no idea how that colored egg business works. It confuses the h3LL out of me. All I know is I've never had a ee roo, but my ee hens that I have mated with my roosters around here have ended up having offsprings that layed green eggs.

All you can do is try it Red. Even green eggs are pretty. Hope you will end up with a colored egg layer :hugs
