Yes, they are hardy. You keep a bunch of them and they pile together to keep warm.

I watched the one in the picture hatch in my hand. It was the last egg. They are just as active as chicks.

yep. I am considered the black sheep on my family.. although they love me very much... My sister and her family love Japanese anime.. and I love them.. I grew up in a house hold where I have and still now to this day know every Classic Star trek ever made... My brother plays the Rps board games and I am just me fitting in with the rest. Yes, I have a range of likes and dislikes and some people I can go out and just straight up ask.. others not so much.

Of all the years I had quail, none of mine even tried to set. If you have a small bantie that isn't too big to mash the eggs, like a silkie, they will hatch them.
