Two of the guys had the virus in the woods overnight. Temps were right around freezing. So they're back here now, and set up base camp in my living room. They changed the channel without asking. I'm so annoyed right now. To me that is the very rudest thing a person can do.

omg are they answering your phone too. They might as well if not. No way would I go into someone else's home and turn the tv. So rude.

we've avoided the bug so far. Yea we enjoyed the basket weaving. Still working on it. How are you doing?

OMG I forgot to tell y'all: one of those baby honas is CROWING. They'll be three weeks old tomorrow.

Phew. Made it back home.

There was some carnage. Friend's explorer had its transmission die....so up on our flatbed it went and I drove the off-roadvo home. Alternator started falling off said off-roadvo, thank goodness hubs was able to fix it! Another friend had the fuel pump on their motorhome (we suspect) go. Hubs drove wife and youngest baby to their house then will likely head back to help with motorhome....meanwhile I just got home, checked on the chickens (11 eggs....slackers! 8 of them for three days and only 11 eggs!)

Now to start some laundry. And at some point have a shower. Oh sweet mercy sakes I am gross lol.

I slept most the day away.. Maybe that will be the turning point for me getting better ..
LoKo, Not sure on your chicks , maybe mixed but sure look silkie to me. No extra toes ?

Camping, you sure DH intended for them to sleep there and they are not taking advantage ? Soo not safe. I cant see Tom sending his buddies to come spend the night with me. It just wouldnt happen. And if they are bold enough to turn your tv without asking I would take that as a warning signal. I worry too much .

Just tired Red, love the grandkids, but boy are they hard on my back & energy level

I'm so glad I had my son when I was young. No way could I keep up with little ones now. I feel sad that pearls kids got me now in the shape I'm in. I'd love to be able to ply football with them. I do pass the ball to them some. And hunting I take a comfortable chair. I do what I can but wish I could do more. They've really never had a father in their lives.
