We've tried!  They grow on oak roots, so you have to get them started somehow in the right spot. We haven't heard of anyone cultivating them.  Bummer.

I've seen some great ways to farm mushrooms on piles of logs, right log for the right mushroom inoculated in the right spots produces pounds. Keep trying, commit to recreating the proper conditions. If even seen some cool kits that grow sitting on window sils. Good luck and good night.

Hi all caught up finally. Was a busy day. spent over 2 hours shaving all the dogs feet and doing nails. A little xvox with bro and then mass tonight. Thougth I would try an experiment and see if I have been spending to much time in front of the computer and headachs are caused by eye strain. And no headach.

GRANNY I didn;t give you up for lent. About your dreams maybe because your loosing your doctor ???

But it was much easier to be nice to Red this way

I have to open tomorrow so going to hit the showers and then bed.

attimus, do you cook much with mushrooms? Any chanterelle ideas?

1. onion diced. 1. Leek only the wite part diced the green part whole. 1 carot cut to 4 1. Poteato diced . 2-3 sellery stocs This wonderful mushroom diced Water, salt and peper, one box of cocking cream, or milk. You fry the leek, onion, mushroom, potato in some butter, you need to add 6-8 cups of water and the rest of the vege, and coock till every thing is coocked. Thake out the selery and the carott and the green part of the leek. Process it in the fooud processor add salt and pepper, and bring to boil again, add the cocking cream, let it to cook for 3-5 minute and eat!

Morning y'all. About to head over to the coop! e it's stressful to watch... Lots of hurry up and wait. The nomad isn't putting the boards up the same way I would, and I think my way looks better. He's leaving big gaps between the boards to keep everything level. That's probably the proper carpentry way. I'm still trying to make it a quilt.

But that's ok. I'm learning a lot for the day that I build something for myself.

Benny, that sounds delicious . Love mushroom soup . never had any except for canned . Too much work for me though. LOL Hate cooking.

Morning everyone , Horrid start to the day. woke up after 4 hrs. sleep in bad pain then started puking. Took pain pill and sons nausea pill 5 min. later puked that up. body jerking . Managed to make it to Tom and wake him up. He helped me get dressed and cleaned up, brushed my hair for me, ect... I was going to head to the hospital and he said I cant drive you so I thought, How will I get home ? I called catch a ride and that was a no.. About that time I discovered I didnt lose the pills after all and I guess the combo of the 2 of them together is pretty strong cause right now I just aint feeling much pain !
