All the baby's I got from the hatchery were all plugged up with pasty butt. The ones I hatched never had it.

Good morning everyone!!!

Hubs and I are off to do errands this morning.  Thankfully the feed store does not have tempting chicks, so I am free to go!  Sun is brightly shining after 3 days of rain.  I would enjoy it more if I knew it was going to rain next week, but apparently it is not.


Granny, hope you are taking it easy. And Tom too.  Are we going to have to say Tom's gone and done it!?


Prostar, your dog reminds me of my Lucy I used to have.  Half collie.  Perpetual puppy!

Camping, I think we need to have a new HAL contest.  Biggest Broody Turd!  But what would the prize be? 


Red, sorry about your Silkie being a rooster.  Keep an eye for some hens and you will get them one day!  Congrats on your new additions!  3 for 1. Pretty good!

Megan and I were in TSC yesterday...... They had chicks!

I had to DRAG her out of the store........

Then walked The dogs on a different route this morning....... and saw illegal chickens in someone's back yard.......

I must resist........

Then we came home and cut down brush in the back yard........ When we are done Megan announces that now we have room for a garden AND a hoop coop.......

I am so screwed!
