Oh no. Thank God he seen it and didn't just start messing with it.OMG MY ACHING HEART. DS was playing in the yard while I'm working on house/farm chores. He screams and runs inside and tells me there's a spider in his watering can. Well we did that this morning with a granddaddy long legs so I told him to bring it to me.
YALL I THINK I BOUT DIED.

Its sad my in-laws could never see the good in me because I wasn't Catholic. Crazy thing is I had been raised Catholic & parents changed things up in my latter teens. I didn't have a problem of following where my husband wanted to go, but his father got so furious with my hubby for attending church with me & my family earlier that morning & then I attented late service him. His father proceeded to tell him after church that my hubby was a huge disappointment to him for attending my church. And that the Catholic church is the only church & he better get his head on straight or else he wasn't welcome to be part of the family. Then they started treating me horribly. After months of this behavior I called off our wedding & broke it off with my hubby. Many months later my husband & I started seeing each other again. He had moved & had left his church. For him he couldn't continue to go because if being a Catholic meant it was ok to judge your own son so harshly & treat others with such contempt then he wanted no part of it. They have always blamed me for taking their son from the church. In reality it had nothing to do with me. I had told my hubby when we married that I would go to church anywhere he wanted, except I could not attend the same church his family did because of how they had treated him & me. He wanted no part of it.The first lady I was truly serious about and we were considering taking the plunge I thought my mother liked. Until I walked in on her and her sister and mom was saying "you know He (me) couldn't find just a nice quiet Lutheran as she was bemoaning the fact that the lady in question wasn't catholic." But other then that she liked the gal.

Quote: I think it depends on what breeds were used to make the sex link. Difference between a New Hamp or RIR rooster over whatever white hen. The gold sex links are closer to a buff color. Red sl is darker. The hatcheries come up with their own names for the cross they use.
Quote: Been there, sorry to say but most MIL are hard on there DIL. Have no clue why. They sure like to fark up someone's marriage from the get go. I know not all are like that. It sure makes marriage easier when everyone gets along. Never was blessed with that. My in-laws have always thought I destroyed their sons life. We will be married 32 years the end of June. MIL has passed, but FIL still hangs on to those threads.![]()
It's so unnecessary, isn't it? Makes me wannaIf my FIL had been living, I doubt he would have attended our wedding. I never met him, but he didn't go to his daughter's wedding when she married someone he disapproved of.![]()
My in-laws never attended our wedding, nor did they ever acknowledge it because we were not married in their church. They treated our dd's as basstard children. In all the years my kids grew up with their cousins there was a very noticible difference in how the kids were treated & how gifts were given out at Christmas. Sad part is, they missed out on the pleasure of knowing & loving 2 beautiful grandkids.
No offense to anyone... My mil let me have it last night on my parenting skills.. So felt the need to defend. Lol

Just depends on what each individual hatchery calls them. Some call them GSL, while others call them Cinn. Queens, ISA Browns
I thought those were red sex links ?![]()

My mom does too, she loves her SIL's & DIL's like they are her children. Now my dad was a different story when he was alive. He had his favorites. My mil was a good friend to me. Sure do miss her. She kept our kids before& after school while we worked. If she needed groceries or meds i was her driver. Love u lavada. She died in 1999.
That is what I want.... And I strive for that relationship.... My dad and hubby are super close. My mom loves everyone.

Anyone know anything about Newcastle disease/syndrome? I think that's what my hona has. There's facial swelling today.
