It is chalk . and charcoal  . very forgiving stuff.

like I said, I dabble. That was after a year of not painting at all. Pleasanton art festival, The Big Draw. There were some great artists there, and some not so great. Haven't painted much sjnce the chickens became a thing. Imagine I'll get back into it when my kid understands not to eat the paint

Hahaha. I lurk on and off especially when I can't sleep. I am happy, but I now see areas of improvement that need to be made... Luckily I have all the time in the world.
