I have to be so careful of what bales I get. Landlord gets angry as heck with the weeds from Bermuda grass if I went that way. (From what I've heard from a neighbor).

And I could see rabbits/squirrels being a problem. Oh well. I already have a bunch of raised beds and containers to play with. I'll be starting to plant things and stuff in another week or two

Oh you dont need hay bales then.

Try some bush cukes and bush beans. Along with some patio tomatoes. Be wary of squash plants. They get big.

Hellooooo, First time on today. LOL Productive day outside . 2 more polish eggs bringing me to 10. first one is pretty old though. I think they are mostly silver laced but I will take any one I can get at this point. Moved the bigger chicks outside to a larger cage. Not sure what all I did but enough to where I cant do no more. Only thing left to do is clean these cages out in the house. Its aint going any where. I got 3 hrs. sleep last night and that was broken. Bet I sleep good this night !

I have no idea. I'm afraid I overfed her. Maybe she aspirated. She never moved closer to the heat last night.

How were you feeding ? I doubt if that was it. she sounded pretty bad to me.

I held her and she ate slurry or wet feed from a cup. Kathy told me once that forcing feed to a dehydrated bird was deadly. So maybe she was dehydrated?

I put 3 of Toms 6 chicks in the barn today. Hes not liking it. said they are too little. They are in the same brooder out there they were in here.

if she was eating it from a cup or whatever thats not force feeding. Force is when you tube her. So unless you poured it down her throat she didnt aspirate.
