I guess I just thought the red stuff was the beginning of a chick developing

you would see tiny veins on the yolk first off not in the white.

ok    going to have to get a camera I can operate and then figure out how to transfer onto the computer before I ever try to incubate an egg
Easy Peazzy twist! If you can figure out all the business taxes & psperwork & partnership taxes, you can operate a digital camera. I have faith in you & granny ~ she needs to get one too!

granny first LOL and then I will get the same type and learn from her questions

that is good to know   should I ever dive into the evil habit forming/addiction  realm of incubating eggs.

And so you Shall.

Consideration is the first deadly step......

lol  BUT  first I have to find my forever bird.

Nope, that's the sweet thing about hatching. You just keep adding different eggs until you find the one you like. And having just one forever breed would just be too boring IMHO. I've gotta have a little variety in my life

well I do have a second coop with large run set up for my forever breed, to keep them pure   but will always have a few others for eye candy.   Like EE's  and some of Sally's brahmas  (if I ever can afford to get some )

Well that's good, wouldn't want you to be boring twist :lau

LMAO   hard to be boring when you own Yaks    as Yaks are cool.     sort of like matt smith's  bowties are cool
[/quote] Yaks are cool as is owning your own farm. It is a dream of mine if I had unlimited funds to operate one without a "Real job"
