I did a good one this time. Flo has been sitting on 3 chicken eggs and one dud duck egg since before my so called hatch . at least 25 days or more. So their no good right ? I tossed the duck outside and brought the chicken eggs in to candle and open. They were pretty full and black but I didnt see anything else. Took them to the back porch and took half the top off . white membrane w/full dead chick. I touched it to possible see how stiff (how long it has been dead ) and it kicked me. Its in my incubator in a plastic container with a sponge on it /beside it and a lid with a couple holes for air. The membrane has turned clear from the sponge and I can sit and watch it moving around . No external pip. I need a candler . Mine seems to have lost something. I am hoping its not too humid in there. @Sally Sunshine

No, just put them all in there. the membrane has turned back white and the chick has plenty of movement.
