then if anything is wrong my guess would be mal-positioned and it still may turn and hatch . only worry is it running out of air first. It is totally up to you if you give it a pip in the air sac for air or not. I just had one with half the top exposed and I think I was very lucky it hatched on its own 2 days later.

I believe it was freaking out because of the flash light.
