That is so pretty! Too bad is doesn't stay in bloom longer.

I have to laugh. Some Volvo friends of mine posted pics of their family (two little kidlets) visiting some sort of thing...had dog frisbee, agility, chicks and chickens....

I comment on the one of his daughter reaching out to a frizzle hen that oh my gosh love the frizzle.

...I feel I should apologize for not commenting on the cute kids but frizzle!!!
It's all about priorities!

I'm so sorry. You hardly have time to get used to one passing, and then 2 more. Comforting, though, to think that they are all together.

Hope y'all are all feeling better and had a wonderful day. Church was great this morning. My uncle with cancer preached a great sermon. Came home and got the other wall of the coop done . All left now is fencing in the top , a few sheets of metal on the roof when my friend can get me some, and chickhen wire on the inside of the fence at the bottom of the run. Well I do have to build nesting boxes and a perch. But at least I seeing an end in site.
You've gotten a lot done! Been working hard, I think. I'm impressed.

Here's my house. The coop is all the way to the right. Posts are in for the fence!

No one did farm chores today. :rant I just ran out and fed and watered everyone. There's a dead baby in the broody coop. It's loosey goosey, maybe shaken to death? Do chickens do that?

Check out the feathers on these babies!! Only 2 weeks old! It looks like a lot of feathers, maybe not. I can't tell if these are feathering in male or female... I can't remember how to tell.

thanks wishing. Its been a few weeks now I think. Its only a 6x10 I think. With a 6x12 run. The run was already together. But I'm doing ok for my health I guess. Honestly I remember building stuff like this in a day. No more than a weekend. But thank the Lord I can still do it at all. Use to love golf but last time I went several years ago, I couldn't get past 9 holes. That was with a cart. Had to give that up but I love building things better.
