These are the eggs that were set two days later, right?
Me or granny? Mine were set all at the same time, but I found out when I moved them to my lockdown incubator & recalibrated the thermo/hygro in the incubator they had been in that the temp was running a whole degree low, not certain when it happened. I calibrate each unit before hatches. This caused mine to run 2 days late. Chicks hatched over a three day window.

Devin is home... Him and his buddy overtook the sound system at work and had the sounds of screaming goats put in. Lol!!! He just showed me the video. Wish I Knew how to share it with you all so you can get a good chuckle.

Hi everybody, home again ~ feel like the only thing I did for the past 2 days is ride in a car.

Duh that's what I did. Did go see my aunt this morning even though I'm stuffy. I think it just my allergies going haywire. Bad sinus pressure & drainage. Eyes hurting & itching & constant sneezing. Feel pretty wiped out, haven't been sleeping well since the stupid time change. But enough complaining, do have some good news. Ended up with 10/15 chicks for my EHAL hatch. It was really hard being gone when they are hatching. Dd did great, but she said I can't ever go away again when I have a hatch going on, LOL. Couldn't help it, they were supposed to be hatched by the time I left, darn late hatch. Dd had to assist the last little girl hatching today. She was very sticky, she had been pipped over 24 hours, wasn't making any progress & she started going into distress. I washed her, dried her & put her back in the incubator for the night. She seems to be doing good. Got my Bielefelder eggs picked up while down state. The place we picked them up at had this most awesome pond on their property. I have always wanted to have a small farm, acreage & a pond. Not asking for much

Twist I think you need to look into the Bielefelder for your forever breed. Great disposition, dual purpose (this ladies roo was over 12 pounds) hens lay extra large brown eggs. I'll keep you post down the road on how they do on feed. Oops, forgot they are auto sexing as well ~ a huge plus!

hum swede's or german's not sure which to choose and I know both are stubborn

Go with both, nice thing with the Germans is they are autosexing & dual purpose, plus XL eggs

parts were way cool and other's not so much look like a lot of trimming with a week wacker tho.

Lot of trimming. you can tell it is in need of some upkeep. The little pond was ugly but in all fairness they didnt have it running. The hands some how looked familiar
