Camping, seen a feeder made but dont remember where.  A sterlite container , PVC big enough for chickens head ON the inside. so it was almost flush with the tote but went in and turned down.  goats cant do that.

There's a thread on BYC about goat proof chicken feeders. I've got some good ideas to try.

I was about 1/4 of the way through my Walmart trip when I started having back spasms. I need these knocked out quickly because I'm supposed to castrate the boys and cook a big supper tonight for all the nomads.

When I was WV, I had a dog thst ate chicken feed. So don't laugh too hard about feeders in the rafters, it has been done before!!!!!!

I went back and looked again. White chest with mottled red and a dark tail? I would love to see better pics of him.

my dogs eat what ever falls from the brooder in the house. I dont know if its food or crap. nasty dogs.

Chicken lady how is your daughter's SO doing??   is he home yet ??? 

Yes he came home the same night. He has had kidney stones many times. The medical condition that he just had surgery for a month ago is what caused all the stones. Before he started treatment his blood calcium level was 500 times the amount it should have been. The Parathyroid condition caused his body to draw out all the calcium from his bones & teeth. His blood was full of calcium but his bones & teeth were being robbed of theirs. This extra calcium in the kidneys made great kidney stones. Its criminal that a doctor knew he had this medical condition at age 18, but because Andy didn't have health insurance he (the doctor) didn't impress upon Andy how important it was for him to be treated for the Parathyroid condition ASAP. Andy is 30 & just had it operated on. Nobody knows if he will have residual problems in the years to come. His teeth are shot, he has so much bone pain that he's waiting to see if it gets better or if the lack of calcium in his bones for so many years has caused irreversable damage. Personally if it was me I would sue their @sses. I should have a number of years ago when a surgeon goofed up a gallbladder surgery using a lazer. He lazered something he shouldn't have & it has caused me more problems then I ever expected.
