I don't think you should try to fix it.  You loved him and he was a huge part of your life and now he's not there any more.  It's going to take time to get used to it.  Your routine will be different, but the impulse to look for him and remember to feed him will linger.  The feelings aren't bad.  They just show how much you love him.

You did science Wishing ? when I was schooled science and biology were one and the same.

Yes, biology is a main branch of the sciences. I was credentialed to teach Life Sciences (Biology) and Chemistry. I didn't teach for very long, though, not like Benny and Jane. Was in a tough school and burnt out very quickly. Then had my little #1 who needed extra attention. Thinking if I go back to teach, I will do elementary. Rather have the same group of kids for the whole day than 150+ over the course of a day. We'll just do lots of science and chemistry in class!

I better get to the point where I can walk without pain, or it's a no go for that plan!
