They run my favorite little junk shop. I'll take a picture next time I drive past. She just made a fence out of brightly painted bicycles. My shelf that fell the other day came from there.

that sounds cool !  so many thrown away bikes.

She buys at estate sales and auctions. No telling how long she's been saving them up. Her shop is an airplane hangar with the plane still in it. We used to put it on our scavenger hunt: "touch the propellor on an airplane."

I got a really cool lamp from her, too. I'll see if I can find a pic.

I had one with crystals hanging down, but sold it in a garage sale. I think I had it $15? A lady was trying to talk me down because it was missing a few. I said "that's why it's only $15." As soon as she took one step away a Hispanic man grabbed the lamp, gave me the money, and left. He wasn't going to let her change her mind!
