Can get bantam in most of the colours I think over here. Think gold and silver lace are the most popular.

Have not read back through today, I started this morning but the other half decided he was going to start taking the old cooker hood off and do some tiling at 6.30 this Mornng. Had to get in that torture chamber with him as he makes too much mess if left unsupervised!!

From what I understand, the ground needs to be a certain temp (over 55?? or something) for good root growth. Otherwise they just sort of sit there. Hard to grow tomatoes here because it cools down at night. We got some new cool climate varieties and some other early fruiting ones. Tomatoes are one of the best things about summer!

It does ? I just think of Ca. as hot , desert type weather. LOL
