I have Icelandic Chickens, and a bunch of barnys. Trying to eliminate the mutts, at least the roosters, overtime I think I'm done, some hen shows up with more chicks. Have a few ducks, and a few quail left. Incubators I have a styrobator, Micro Brinsea and Brinsea 20. Try to mainly hatch with broody hens, unless something I don't have like guineas.

Hahaaa! hubs made me go and sit down. I helped peel the potatoes first. He's going to grill some tri tip, smash some taters, and I'll fish around for some veggies. He and the boys got some things planted while I was out. Squash and holes dug for cucumbers. Barely hit 60° today, and while you won't hear me complaining, if you listen carefully, you can hear the tomato plants grumbling unhappily.

Chickenlady was hatching the Icelandic . they are nice. Land race right ? I built a fridgobator and then chick days happened. LOL I only used it twice with not great hatches.

Here's my chicken fabric. I only got a yard. They didn't have much left. Maybe I should go back.

I finished one of the garden beds. There were deer tracks in the other.

Does that mean what ever you plant will disappear ?

Didn't make me sad, but that was a very touching poem. The part about the cold gravestone is what got me. I rarely go to where my mom's ashes are buried, I never feel she's there, and she wouldn't hang out in a place like that by choice. If anything, her spirit is back up at the farm where she loved living close to nature. She'd be enjoying all the spotty fawns running around now.

Probably. We just did seeds today, but the radishes LoKo sent are sprouted already from Thursday. DH is picking up some step-in posts tomorrow. I have a roll of plastic netting we can wrap around. Once the staff get here I'd imagine the deer will get scarce.
