the cage was filthy. found mold under the food dish. they have no meat on them either. I am treating for cocci but I really dont know. I have moved them to clean quarters. and Tom and I cleaned all the brooders yesterday. We didnt disinfect them though so I left them empty.

I feel like crap. trust me but I couldnt do it alone. way too heavy and wire so I couldnt scrap it either. Tom ended up helping. I dont deserve to have them when it gets like that. I thought sure I would sell them at the swap mothers day. The new laws was just as sure I wasnt.

You can't control the weather and all that rain..My runs smelled so bad..It has dried up now..I can't use sand because it's so wet and humid here,smells worse than any bedding i have ever used..

Theres no excuse . It wasnt raining in the pole barn. I just cant handle the big cages. It is all my fault and I know this. I hope I remember this next time I see a "deal" . I thought sand would be the answer ? would make it drain faster not stink. Im glad you said something cause That was my plan.
