It was my turn to find the baby birdie!

There was a nest pretty close by, so I put it in that one. The mama was paying attention to us. I'll check on them in a bit.

Cute little birdie. All of them are gonna be flying before you know it. Congratulations on the npip thing camping.

Thanks! :hugs You got your hona coop built yet?? :highfive:

Not totally. It depends a lot on your state. The testing he did today was free. Some states aren't.

I have a tendency to lock up when folks are telling me stuff that contradicts what I thought, especially stuff I don't know as much about. Low confidence, which isn't always a bad thing. But sometimes I don't stand up for myself.

Overall I'm pleased with how today went. I handled the guineas with no extra bloodshed, and I can send y'all eggs and chicks now.

:weee
Congrats on the NPIP thing.

You picked the wrong thread. LOL This is one dumb Granny !
White, the back strap, Is it cooked like a steak ? Does it need to be cooked well done ?
I just had another sugar drop but I caught it just in time. It was 63.
We slice the backstrap into butterfly steaks, then pan fry them. I like mine pink on the inside.

Lots of folks mix ground venison (deer meat) with ground beef or ground pork to get a little fat in the mix; deer meat is very lean, & deer fat tastes horrible.
Makes some super burgers & chili.
The very best cut on a deer is the backstrap, which runs along both sides of the spine; melt-in-your-mouth delicious  :drool

I can cook venison all kinds of ways that will make you cry. But I can't eat it. Seems I'm allergic.

that exactly how it happened with me. I just wanted a few eggs once a week.
isn't she cute y'all? She set a limit at 15 lol. My limit was six.
I fee my ee blue m@m's so she lays blue eggs.

I asked him about that. He was stumped. He's never seen a blue or green egg. Or dark brown. Or ...

A limit of 15? Is that per breed? Fortunately I don't have a limit........yet.

:smack Don't jinx us!

I have two baby morning doves in my hanging plant basket. We kept a daily eye on the two eggs and they hatch last week!
How cute!
