I actually finished that hatch last night on my way to bed. I give it an E for effort though. It zipped and instead of its head coming out it flipped back in the bottom of the shell ! So only its spine was poking out. LOL It didnt take much to get the head out and it was free. Im having a problem with humidity on the 3 eggs that were close to ready. as there are almost 2 doz. that are not. Its still in the bator but from what I can tell its full polish and black !

Morning. I didn't say yesterday because I needed to assess the damage for myself. DH didn't realize that the chicks were locked in the loft of the tractor. I lost 6 of 16: the 3 niederrhiners, 1 bielefelder, and 2 merlerault. So I've got 10 hardy mutt chicks left.

The glass was a good idea. Next time, just get under the sink & shut the valve off!

ahh ! There lays the crux . I cant. Tom cant. Robert or GS might of been able but Lisa DH had a hard time turning it off. especially with me smacking him in the head.

I was afraid he was going to get burned. The water was burning my hand and I knew I couldnt hold it any longer. Lisa put the glass over it. LOL He didnt move til he got it shut off though.
