Goodness that sounds grim for you and the poor dogs. That's just not responsible ownership at all. Different cultures have different ways of seeing things I guess.

Because that government legislate rules! To avoid the situation that any one could act according to its point of view, or tradition
And offending other in the process!

what do you mean by spazed out ? Hocks is ok for 24 hrs.  should be giving enhanced water

I got to sleep in today! Both kids are at camp, and DH is handling meals.

I think my hatch is over. 4 eggs left and they don't look promising. 11 fluffy, lazy chicks, and one with a gross umbilicus that I'm surprised survived the night. It had not absorbed the yolk and is in a cup. This morning the yolk is gone, but there's a big clump of nasty at the navel, which is open. I put it back in the cup.

Should I try to tie it off with string? Or just go ahead and cull? @Sally Sunshine

Can't tell which one it is anymore. they're all pretty lazy. I'm moving them over to a brooder today because I'm pretty sure I have 8 bator eggs ready for lockdown.
