GS came in the house with my new rooster hanging upside down . he was holding it by the legs and said, where do you want me to clean this guy at ? LOL Took some talking to get him to put it in a cage by itself.

Sure do like your young man! Straight to the point he is. Sadly, being mean or punishing a rooster like this will probably make him worse, he will fight to the death. He needs a little behavior modification. Got to outsmart the birdbrain!

Maybe someone should offer to swing the racket for Wishing...
I guess I'm hoping to become special too, because I went to let the misbehaving pullet out
of the crate, so she could go to nest box (she's a very good layer) and smacked my head into the coop door above it. Ouch!

The only time I hit myself with the racket was trying to smack a hornet off the court.

Welcome to the thread. How far north are you in Northern California? You want some Seramas? I have a couple of cockerels and a pullet that need a home. What kinds of chickens do you have? I will think of other questions later.

Chickens are definitely an addiction. Have you tried incubating yet? People can go kind of crazy with that. What kind of chickens do you have? Any favorites?

Not unless something is buzzing at me. I'm kind of like Ali, except it's float like a butterfly, swing at a bee! Well, a hornet. Bees are good.
