I just had ~22 junior-high campers (and three staff) at the farm and we all survived!! The tractor babies were running loose all over. I told the kids that the animals live there, and they don't, and to enter the farm respectfully like it was the preacher's house. Then I said "if you don't have a preacher, then act like you're visiting the queen of England." So some of them spoke to the animals in British accents. I wanted them to understand that if they harassed the animals this week, then they would be afraid of campers next week.

All the kids did great!

Twist, Sally was asking about your dogs vrs pups and showed pics. of her darlings . Did you see them ? one fell asleep in the food dish. hahahaa

I have had a couple fall asleep across the food dish as in spread wide out and no food showing. reminded me of some women I know and chocolate anything.

I am not sure but she actually sort of squatted for Yuri most of the time. I might have 2 litters with in 2 weeks of each other. UFFDA but better then no pups.

Good morning all. We just changed the way we do our budget. Hubby did it for years with me knowing nothing. Thanks to tippy I now have complete control and the hubs discusses all that he needs for the day. This way I can make sure bills are paid and have a savings and money to live on. It wasn't a good idea for a man that worked 12 hours or more a day to be in charge of bills... When did he ever have time to look at what we had and what needed to be paid. Lol!!!!

Years ago DW paid all the bills, but was constantly misplacing and/or forgetting to pay them; thus she was constantly paying exorbitant late charges. I got tired of that crap & took over. First thing I did, when I first got a computer with internet capability, was set up all the bills to be paid automatically (on my sayso, not the creditors'...nobody has access to my account but DW & I) 'cause I was working so much I'd forget to pay the bills, too. As a result, I haven't written a check to pay a bill in so many year I can't even remember the last time. Cut up all the credit cards & buy all gasoline with a debit card...no monthly gas bill. Set the checking account up with overdraft protection; any overage comes out of the savings account. DW has her own checking account, from which she buys the groceries and her gasoline, plus health insurance through her work, I pay everything else. As a result of all that, I'm able to pay down the principal on the mortgage way sooner than I would otherwise. Best financial decisions I ever made,
