n I got out to the farm found out Robert had done NOTHING last night as he wasn't feeling well DAH no insulin for a week I could have smacked him. Go down to get eggs, check water and feed. About 1/2 of the chicks had managed (or the wind) to open the door between the brooder room and the feed area of the room and spent the night in there with no water or food. There is a bungie cord holding that door shut as Rob modified the latch that I had put on there. Chicks had no food other then some oats. ARGH Had brought 5 bags of starter out with me. Then went to check the water on the yaks, NO WATER nothing but dust this is not good with 3 lactating mothers. About got mugged as I started filling the troughs .

Oh no. That's bad, no water. Robert couldn't have called you.

I hand chopped pulled al the common hensbane that was growing in the ditch along the road we just but barbed wire up on . Filled the back of Fat Polly, then hooked the 3 point mower up and mowed down al the large concentrations of Thistle and Wormwood. Also got another gate hung.
