Tired ! LOL  I hadnt thought of all the hauling of the kids. Thats too much.

It is, but if she were to stay at her house for the summer she wouldn't have the oportunity to have a summer job. And I feel that every young person should have a summer job. These kids these days just think Mom & Dad should do it all. Not at my house, my girls knew if they wanted something than they were going to have to work to get it. We've never had extra money stashed under the mattress

My oldest is babysitting 6 kids mon through Thursday all day for only 100 bucks a week. I tried to talk him out of it but he's a big boy and can decide.

The good news is they are all boys. Thank god!!!!! So he just plays with them all day.

We do it insanely haha. Purposely letting gd sleep in so I can have my morning coffee in peace

She is just so full of energy & all the tornado messes that follow. She made less messes as a young child. And laundry...... so tired of laundry already. She does help with that, but of course we have to grumble about it first. Linda, how much are the adults paying you to watch the kiddos for the summer?

They don't pay me!!! Lol
But it gives mom a break. She usually has the brunt of it. Now it's me.

Oh that's sad that they dump the grandkids off, just expecting her to be available everyday to watch their children. I would have never done that with my children, I respect my mother too much. I keep my gd in the summer months by my choice. The kids parents should be paying you something to keep an eye on your nieces & nephews

I slept late too, still need to let chickens out of coops, feed and make sure they have fresh water.

Oh, BTW I was wondering how to you keep the slimy film from building up on waterer. I wipe them down everyday with a cloth before filling. And it's back next day. I also wash them with soap and water every two weeks and soak them in bleach water for about 30 mins. And then rinse and fill back up.

you keep it in the shade ? I THINK moms vinegar in the water helps but I dont use it because I dont much agree with all the hype about it.

My brother drops them close to everyday. My sister once in a blue moon for Doctor appointments. When I worked.. Devin and I use to work opposite hours so it wasn't required. We liked to have a babysitter for fun things. Lol

My mom refused to babysit unless it was her idea . I did too. She would say, you made your bed, you lay in it.
