When I grew up there they had a cougar in a little tiny enclosure..I went to see it a lot. At football games they would put it in a little cage and run it around the track at halftime. Thank goodness they don't do that anymore.

I always dreamed of going to school there, to be a vet.

morning again, I went out to feed the chickens . I gave them their crumbles and they were happily munching away then I went to get some corn. One jumped on my head and started eating from the scoop and I got her down they must of all been watching. one on each shoulder . I felt lucky to dump the corn and get out of there alive. I figure that Porter is worth between 8 and 12 grand. He is just starting to enter his "prime" all the girls are just getting there as well.

I could get a nice looking cow with the Royal coloration for 1100 plus vet costs and shipping but she is 17 years old getting very close to the tail end of baby making stage. She miscarried last year lives in MN. The same place has a 14 year old Royal for 1700.00 same deal.

I am sort of considering it. I would NOT introduce just a single yak. They seem to sort of pack up. I have a group of 2 (star,comet) born and raised together and then the other 3 also born and raised together and have their own group. This is usually how they move around together as well. Last Thurs with all the trouble with Comet , Star came/waddled back up and stayed with in about 100 feet of Comet until she was freed.
