Chick question.

I have been taking my 2 week old chicks outside to play each evening.

Last night one of them scared the poo out of me...I really almost started freaking out.

It was about 7:30 pm...hot as heck still. They were out playing for about 10 minutes when one decided to just lay down on it's side. I just watched it and after a few minutes of laying there I got nervous so I tried to pick it up to stand and it would just FALL OVER.
Now I am totally freaking out.
I try to keep standing it up for a few minutes and notice that it kept one leg real close to its body.

I put it down, turn around to grab the box to load them back up to bring back inside and when I turned back around it was running and playing just like the others.


Any ideas of what the heck she was doing?

LOL Playing. was she in sand or soft dirt ? might have been trying to take a bath too

Thanks hun, I give. I guess I am stuck in this chair. 

I am disabled.  my bones are collapsed with nerve encroachment.  failed surgery on my foot.  arthritis through my whole body.  I can keep going but it dont matter.

Granny I chat on another thread on BYC and there is a man that has a lot is pain issues. He mentioned one time that he has been taking Morphine for years for his pain.
Want me to find out who his doctor is?
He lives up North somewhere.......you may have to drive a bit.

Hi granny...... Doing well.... Except for the heat. I could die.



Pretty sure I have thyroid issues because I literally cannot even take eighty degrees w/o feeling like it is 95-100.... But oh well. I'll live!

I dont think so. But it is hard to tell. if it is laminate its a fine job. very heavy and too tired to check it out good but my guess would be no.
