The clouds are moving in, and the rain is on its way!

These are pictures of the parents of my yellow chicks. He calls it a white Colombian project. Orpington. These are the eggs I won in the auction.
Are these from Jeff (Papa's Poultry)? If you ever breed these or have extra pullets you "don't want" let me know. My hubs loves the columbian color, but I don't want Delawares. Orps I like!!!

Darn American plagues.

Seriously. Two years ago on this day I left my motherland and came here. I used to never get sick. Ever. And if I did, a day of rest usually knocked it back to functioning.

Nope! We're on day 3. Four if you count the day it struck at work.

Sorry I've been so quiet. It's just been stuffy head sleep sleep sleep blow nose sleep sleep sleep cough sleep sleep.

My poor chickens are currently rather neglected.

Hope you feel better. Were you around kids lately? Kid germs are vicious!

That is the most gut churning thing I've heard in a long time.

I went back to bed. DH woke me up about 20 minutes ago. Had no idea I'd been sleeping that long. Still feel sick. We don't have any migraine meds so I'm stuck taking Tylenol.

I used to have terrible headaches. Tylenol would not touch them. When Ibuprofen came out, it changed my life. Swear by it. Hope you feel better. I feel for you!

If it lasts much longer you might want to go to ER or your regular Dr and get some migraine medication. I use Maxalt melts. That way if I start to get a migraine where I have no access to water you just pop it in mouth under your tongue and let it melt. Works like miracle.
Hope it goes away soon. :hugs

I was going to say that. I don't think they will survive without the corid, and if they did, it is destroying their intestines. They will never be right.

Can you get some medicated feed? I only use it for the first few weeks, and alternate with non medicated. I have most of a small bag left. Wish I could get it to you, but they will be gone. It's more preventative anyway.

Did you know that mattress gain 7 lb a year from dust mites and dead skin. That's why its heavier when removing them than when putting them in.

This is why I keep a mattress covers on all my mattresses and vacuum them weekly when I wash the bedding.

The thought of it makes me itch plus DD has allergies and what I've been doing seems to help.
