Lost my carrots, radishes, nasturtiums, and squash. What should I plants now for fall

Camping, gd & me just planted sweet corn & green beans last week. Also southern peas & lima beans can be planted now. Its toooo hot to start a fall garden now.

95 in the shade here. Have lost 2 of my polish pullets in the last 4 days. I m wondering if i need to separate them from the 6 LF pullets. They were hatched together 9 weeks ago. Also lost 2 of my 4 week old chicks this week. I am getting about 15 maters per day. Corn is tasseling. Looking forward to cream style corn soon to go with squash, peas & green beans.

Sorry Red, I ate watermelon yesterday and I could of planted a whole fields of melon before I got done in the potty. So much for staying away from seeds.

You started from seeds? Corn has enough time to grow? I still have corn and green bean seeds. I'll have to check what seeds I have left.

Jane, I dont think 95 would kill them as long as they had water and shade. You might want to check their poop .

Granny, i don t have a clue. They look good before dark when i water them & early the next morning they re dead. Maybe piling on each other at night? I water all my chickens 4 times a day in the summer. No signs of disease.
