Thanks twist, yes pretty poor again. All the silver lace Wyandottes are good, the clears were all pekin. Can't wait to get incubating my own eggs again when this roo is old enough. Just can't beat doing your own, you can select to cleanest ones, store them correctly and you know how old they are. Buying in sure is risky business :(

you would think there should be some kind of guarantee or maybe some place you can report them so others don't get taken advantage of.

So the yaks have ran around the tit and grazed the seed heads off of all the different types of grass   and now they are working on the next lower 6 inches to 1 foot.

Back to Star   she turned around and then "squatted" to piddle  and MAN to they spread their legs out.   I got a real good look at everything.

She is definitely bagging up  and  very swollen and poofy around the HooHa.   But she also sucked back up (tummy not dragging)  Silly grils is hurting my head.

Sounds like she is getting ready

what is seedy toe ???   and it there a different term for us non uk residents

Seedy toe is a separation of the horse's hoof wall from the underlying sensitive laminae at the white line. This results in a cavity which fills with crumbling dirt, horn and debris and is prone to infection.

The new farrier I had yesterday cut it all out and I need to treat with iodine untill it's all cleaned out. Then the farrier will fill the cavity with acrylic next time he comes to do him ~
