In other news here is what my husband caught for dinner.

Mornings. slept good but still sleepy. still not done mowing . supposed to start raining again tomorrow I think. It was 93 on my way home yesterday. I think it was about 7pm . Not sure. Tom gave me the stink eye . said I was gone 8 hours. He always gets upset when I go without him. He seems to think I should be able to drive to town, get grocerys and back home in an hr. He knows this isnt possible by the many trips he has gone on with me but me being at the hospital was twice as hard on him.

looking at that dead mice picture ( and I wish it hadnt of been the first thing I seen this am) reminds me of winter, the mice and the "Bucket of blood" There is a post /thread on here to build a trap for excessive mice control . It is all natural and works great. No poisons needed. So when your coop get took over and it will , you might want to check this out. It works with a 5 gallon bucket, a small ramp ,water, and some BOSS. (black oil sunflower seed.)
BTW, If you never see mice in your coop it could be because you have a rat !
