And no need to be sorry. You remember way more about things on this thread than I can keep in my head. I don't expect people to remember everything. It's nice when anyone notices I'm even here!

Can't believe I'm still up. Cinnamon rolls in the morning.

Parents are driving in tonight, should be here any time. DH is being a huge pita about it. Dad is working for the camo and mom is tagging along... It's not like I invited them for a social call. He's been sniping g at me for two days, but chose TEN MINUTES AGO as the time to get upset about the house not being clean.

"You may want to spray something because it smells bad when you walk in."

Yes, that's the wet carpet. Nothing I can really do about it at this point. Everything else is average whatnots. Folded laundry on the couch, eggs on the table, toys on the floor. Nothing that's going to cause a person to fall over dead from shock.

We've discussed at length how my parents will never, ever be satisfied with any decision we make, so why try to impress them with a moderately clean house?

I've been in a bad mood all day.

I am sorry camping. I have gone through stuff like that. It will all work out fine. Throw something in the oven to bake. That makes the house smell good.

The wet carpet. The spot on the left closest to the bed is "ground zero" for this whole mess.
Oh no. That looks like a big job. Going to have to get that carpet up to dry before you get mold.
That's what I keep saying.
Do you have a carpet shampooer? You can get a lot of water up with that.
DH tried. That's how he noticed the leak wasn't fixed. They suctioned the AC line and got a clog out, then shampooed the carpet. But it's totally soaked again, so the problem is somewhere else. He doesn't have time to go into the wall, so we're calling someone who does. ;)
