Im afraid I might end up getting a da mn diaper for a chicken to bring it inside...
i do not want to e one of those ladies...although I guess I really don't see anything wrong with it.

My family and friends already have declared me nuts for getting them.

nope. I just holler at pearl to clean up. Lol no really once in awhile one will slip in for a few minutes. They're all outside now. My silkie stayed in for a long time though. I build what pearl calls his playpen to keep him in with all the chicks that we raised. We finally put him in the coop outside. He actually chased my broody hen away from her babies yesterday because he thinks that if there's chicks around that they're his lol. I had to put him back up so she didn't have to fight him for her babies.

Oh and when he was inside he had his on blanket that he'd actually stay on. I'd wash it everyday. He slept with us in bed one night but pearl would knock him off of his little perch in her sleep.

Not much snow here. If we get it. It melts fast or isn't over 6 inches. And doesn't hang around long. We get rain rain and more rain. Ice and windstorms on the occasion. Snow if we are lucky.

Rain is out of the question....I witnessed a horrible accident when I first started driving.....i wasn't involved...
But it was raining when it happened....
talk about freak out in a car.....I will not be a passenger for sure in a car when its raining
and I rarely drive in the rain...for sure no freeway driving.

Just keep them clean. Just like turtles... Wash your hands a lot and stuff. I can't do inside chickens.

It's hard to put them out once they've stayed in so long lol. I'd love to bring tip back in but now he thinks he's the head roo. Poor things so confused.

X2 lots of hand washing and lots of cleaning up after them so the house don't stink.

Ok back...poor lady...it's a celebration of her life and she will be there for it.
They are choosing to do this for her instead of a funeral.
I don't know if i can go and see her so sick though...too sad.
BUT their whole family came to my dads funeral.
So...I might have to toughen myself up...its not oil August 8 so I have a little time.
