I am looking for a bed for CB . I seen a captians bed ! $40.00 with mattress. I am 2nd in line. then there is a newer bed with a wooden headboard and footboard with horses carved into it. Very nice for $75.00 I hate bringing a used mattress in the house for him. He said he dont care, Him and his brothers has always slept in the floor.

No luck. I had an EE pullet for $5 but the man didn't have a box. So no sale. :/

Gave out my number to a few folks. One is fairly surely going to come for hens in a few weeks. I'm going to sell the old layers and raise the pullets over winter. It's hard to let them go, but I can't keep everyone.

As long as it's clean and doesn't smell... give it the ol sniff test... should be fine. If he has never slept in a bed, wonder if he will fall out.

I cant smell things hardly, I have sinus atrophy. Sometimes thats a good thing. LOL The captains bed is what I wanted because he would have somewhere for his clothes to. I dont even have 40 . But maybe they will hold for a few days.
