Hi Jane, did you see the baby birds in my peach tree ? I dont see a mama anywhere.  They are so very tiny !

Are they bluebirds or wrens? My cat had a bluebird yesterday. I tried to save it but it was too far gone. Why they hatching in August? We have 3 bluebird houses we put up this year. Nice looking peach.

I retired from the public library, I fill in once in a while, I am a library assistant.

thats cool, what does an assistant do ? I dont have much experience in a library .

I have a cousin in KY. that has worked for the library all her life. never married.

101.3 was the highest I saw. DH did the last check because I was selling chickens. I walked in for a box and he said "his temp is fine." I said to give meds anyway. When I got back DH said "it's going up quick." Gotta stay on top of those meds.

Do you do motrin at bed time ? I used to. Probably will again as CB has been snotty all day.

I alternate Motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours when I can, but we only have Tylenol right now. Every 4 hours til the fever breaks. Fevers always get higher at night.

Bubba was my fever baby. Two different times before he was a year old we were in the ER with his temp at 104 because we couldn't get it down. I take his fevers a little too seriously sometimes.

that was the ONLY good looking peach I could reach and had to leave it. Its part of the support for the nest. I know its an odd time and I havent seen a bird in that tree at all. The biggest has wing feathers and is about the size of the first digit of my thumb. I wonder if the hummer has a short beak at birth ?

DD was 105.2 they iced her. strep turned to scarlet fever. Robert did it too. The skin on the bottom of his feet pealed off in a whole sheet.

Pictures didnt show it well but the inside is about an inch across and couple in. deep. there was 3-4 in there. oval shaped from long grass. almost woven in.
