He's hot and cold at the same time. Trying to keep a wet rag on his head or neck, letting him decide to cover up or not. This morning only his legs were covered and I watched the goose bumps come up over his whole back before he started shivering and covered back up.

Not sure about the driving? I saw cars last night on the news, the people went in to Walmart and when they camp out the water was up, so they were trapped. I know people are trying to check on family or neighbors, or they were out of town and trying to get home. I imagine very little of it is joy riding, esp since we've already had so many flood ls this year.

I always try to sweat it out. But I don't know if that recomended

Mom used to put so many blankets on us. It was the worst! I just keep them comfortable: cool bath, damp rag, popsicles, juice, crackers, etc. I try to keep the head cool and the body warm.

101.3 was the highest I saw. DH did the last check because I was selling chickens. I walked in for a box and he said "his temp is fine." I said to give meds anyway. When I got back DH said "it's going up quick." Gotta stay on top of those meds.

Do you do motrin at bed time ? I used to. Probably will again as CB has been snotty all day.

sure Bubba has picked up something from school already. Breaks my heart to see sick babys.  fever causing that?

I saw you commented on that one. It stopped my heart. One of the animal shelters was trying to evacuate and couldn't finish (not sure why?) so they opened all the kennels and the dogs swam up and got on the roof. They've all been rescued now, but some were list I think. The cats were all evacuated.
