Thanks to you, I helped someone trying to sex a Perkin.     Someone else didn't know that Cochins are Pekins outside of the US.  And the person asking said Perkins. Struck me funny!

Good going in the Pekin help I didn't know about them being Cochin untill I did some research after I had ordered those first Pekin eggs!!
I've seen on the news here about the fires and floods

He's back to school on the 6th September It's going to be very quiet when he goes back so I know just how you feel wishing. He's not looking forward to it either, if it were up to him he would not go back at all

He would rather be out shooting or earning some money

Plus he finds it difficult, he is dyslexic and has dyspraxia. He tries his heart out but finds it hard work, he knows what he wants to get written down and it's all in his head but getting it down in pysical writing is a struggle. All the teachers say it's not through lack of trying but it's sometimes disheartening for him.

You've probably been all through it, but the daughter of a friend of mine had a similar problem. They went to a specialist and found that the placement of her paper made a huge difference in how well she could cope. Off center to the left or right, can't remember which. Writing improved and fewer reversals while reading.

We have wishing yes, paper placement, coloured over lays, grips on his pens and pencils and a special cushion for him to sit on when he writes as he was slouching and twitching about due to the dyspraxia. We also had a few sessions with an ocupational therapist to improve his core strength through excersize.

Things have improved compared to when he was younger but it's still troublesome.

Tom didnt get his shoes. Not even ordered yet. All they wanted was for him to stick his foot in the measurement thingy. Big deal I could of told them what size he wears over the phone. oh well, maybe better luck tomorrow.
