hi all, So much for hurry. He still wouldnt take his pill.

I got my meds ! It was a fight but, git er done ..
SOO,..... LOL This is what I did. I opened a can of beer and spilled about a forth out then added spices to the can. garlic salt, chicken seasoning (what ever that may be) oregano I think . I just grab stuff. I dont know whats what. I dried the outside of the chicken and wiped it down with butter then salted and more chicken seasoning. I put it on that broiler pan and stuck it in a 500degree oven to brown quickly then turned it down to 375 I think. Its still cooking . I HOPE it is ok that I seen something in the skin that looks like hair ? also missed a couple feather shafts.

step 2,
I washed and stripped the Kale , 2 bunches. I added a LARGE container of fresh mushrooms, big box of chicken broth, bacon grease,(a lot) LOL apple cider vinegar, (couple good splashes) about a tbs. of sugar, salt, garlic. Its not done yet either but boy is it good ! smoky sweet. I also found the neck and liver in the chicken . I am boiling it and will eat it as is . might add the broth to the greens dont know yet.

So, the only thing anyone else likes is the chicken. I MIGHT make some mashed for them after I rest a while. Unless I can think of something easier.
Now I want some cornbread I bet my cornmeal is too old.

Forgot to freeze my leg quarters so chickens got baked chicken today. Making a pineapple upside down cake for dh. Still haven t picked green beans & peas. Dd goes to work Monday. Yeah
