Granny how is tom doing? And CB has started back at school now eh? Hope that's going well! (I know kids round here started back this week too)

My adulting was not allowed last night due to banker being busy in meetings.

But that's okay. I'll attempt further adulting tomorrow. There may also be extreme adulting once either a) hubs gets off work early enough or b) Saturday.

The original plot was for hubs to add me to his credit card so then yay, I'd have the necessary three lines of credit that mortgage peoples want. (My cc, be co person on his cc and yay rent). Well, he called. Told them three times what he needed done (sadly can't do that in branch have to call). They botched it and just gave me signing authority but no responsibility. So they don't report me on that card at all to the reporting agencies.

Tried getting a fry's card earlier so that hubs could get a new tv and was turned down cause too new. Siiigh.

So the next plot is to get a line of credit in both our names to pay off his snap on line of credit (which has obscene interest rates cause snap on gets you two ways - one with expensive (but quality) tools and the other with stupid interest and finance fees)

I'm also setting up some sort of ira thingmadoo. Yes, late to this party but better late than never. I had retirement savings up north but had to cash em all out to cover expenses/losses when I moved.

Hubs kinda broke my heart the other day. "All these people having kids and we can't even afford a house". Sad but true.

I was wondering when u were going to critic my hamburger helper. We have bout once a month. You were so right about tomato peelings. I put bag in bowl of warm water. 10 minutes i picked up a mater & squeezed out the insides from the peeling. Made a pork stew with them.
