i guess 50lb a week for 58 chicks isnt really that bad

I know for sure she was cycling on the day of the GREAT MOVE in Nov and maybe also in Dec. Then nothing and she hasn't cycled this year that any of us have noticed. "cooking time" 8 1/2 to 9 months is normal. BUT it is Twisted Acres"

So Rod moved all the Silver lace out of the annex today and into Gen pop. So how in the move we ended up with a dead hen. NOT counting that one I have lost 9 hens out of the annex in less then 2 months. And of course no rooster's have been carried off

yepp that is what I am expecting is a calf in the next week to 10 days. Got the see them all a couple times today and jus the 4 calves.

Are they fat ? sounds like heart/ stress death. unless its very hot and you moved them in boxes or such ?

we have a light breeze at the farm today 25 to 35 mph and never broke 70* so I am chilled but good. Actually had the heater in the truck running on my way back to town.
