ok, i cant cook either.
I was trying to make hummingbird nectar and I turned the wrong burner on and burnt my all ready cooked oatmeal. And i was standing right there.

The boys found a dead Serama in the coop yesterday when they were locking up.     She was one that had been battling leg mites and not responding to any of my treatments.  Not sure if that is what caused her to die or if she had some underlying problem and the mites were a symptom.  I feel bad, though.  I should have done more. She was always the lowest ranking and hung out on the edges of the group.  None are particularly mean in that coop either.  I need to take her little self up to the farm.  Dad says the only time he sees me is when a chickens dies.  Not true!!!  I will take him some eggs, tomatoes, and plums for using the orchard as my little circle of life entry point.   Back later.

Sorry for bringing up my negative experience. I don't want anyone to be affected by it.

girlfriend, we want to be here and support you. You did the right thing. You can know you never kept the kids away from him. It sounds like he is still all about how great he is. Sad isnt it.

I went outside and Tom dumped the nasty frog water from the pool . I was hosing it out and the pup jumped in. He was cracking us up. rolling on his back and just having a good time. So We put the pond in the yard and added water . I went and got my camera and he refused to get back in again.

thanks. He wont stay still long enough for a good picture. He was jumping on me cause he thought the camera was a treat then lost interest when it wasnt.
