It's ok to eat chick feed as long as you have plenty of oyster shell or other calcium source. I fed my whole flock chick feed for most of the summer when I had so many babies.

I have a question? My hubs works at a chicken farm so we get feed free. Well each batch is there for 7 weeks... They start with the chick feed and go to layer feed I guess but with my chickens eating it is it ok on them if I switch them back to chick feed even though they are older? Like with new batch of chicks come in.

If your hens are with a roo & u give them oyster shell they will be fine.

Some people say to ease them into it, mix different feeds to transition them. My birds must have iron guts because they eat whatever hits the ground and don't seem to suffer for it.

They didn't seem to mind going from layer back to the other I just didn't know if it would hurt them. My friends chickens will eat aNYTHING... Mine on the other hand won't hardly eat anything besides feed.. My mom even took dead meal worms out there and they liked them all of 2 min!

I'll feel better when we make a plan with the teacher. His trouble times are centers (unstructured play), hallway/bathroom, and not following instructions. He does not get in trouble for naps, keeping his hands/feet to himself, disruption during learning times, or being disrespectful. So I feel like that gives us some insight and direction.

When I picked up the kids the teacher said she would call, but she didn't today. Maybe tomorrow.

About meds, someone in Sally's house recommended letting him have some coffee first. If he mellows with caffeine, then we could "treat" that way.
